Knowing God - Revelation 21:5

Your Name is NEWNESS
Father God, refresh my heart and renew this world ...
and help us all seek for thy will to be done upon this earth today.
What is God telling you about his will for our world today?
And the one who was seated on the throne said,
"Behold, I am making all things new."
Revelation 21:5
The Testament that is New talks repeatedly about ... New Wine in Fresh Wineskings ... New Teachings with Authority ... New Covenants and New Commandments ... a New Life ... with a New Hope ... in a New Creation ... for there will be a New Heaven and a New Earth.
New!!! Aren't there parts of you that are ready to be refreshed?!
That's God's whole goal!
That's his will to be done!
He wants to make all things new within you!
In Ecclesiastes -- which is arguably the most depressing book of the Bible -- Solomon cries out in a moment of hopelessness, purposeless, and despair, "1:10 Is there a thing of which it is said, 'Behold, this is new?'" Well, Jesus answer his question triumphantly on the next to last page of the Bible -- Revelation 21:5 -- "Behold, I am making all things new."
Pray that he will refresh, restore, and recreate you today.
In Christ's Love,
a guy who spells "recreation"
I want to be new ... completely new ... new mind. new body. new ways of thinking. new discipline.
