2 Samuel 20:1-26, Psalm 140:1-13, 1 Chronicles 22:1-19, Psalm 29:1-11, 30:1-12

2 Samuel was an account of a battle. David was rebelled against by Sheba - Sheba died. Guess you shouldn't rebel against one chosen by God to lead.

In Chronicles, David is declaring that Solomon will build the temple. God told David that he has shed too much blood.  Solomon will reign in a time of peace and rest. David had so much blood shed during his reign - to know his son will have peace and rest must have been a relief!!
