stubborn hearts
Ezekial 36:26
I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit inside you; I will take the stubborn/stony heart of sin out of your flesh and give you a heart of obedience/flesh/replace it with a heart that's God-willed not self-willed
I am stubborn. Extremely stubborn. I pray that God will remove my stubbornness and give me a heart that is obedient, God-willed, flesh. It won't be easy, but nothing on this journey has been. What is a little more 'soul surgery' in the grand scheme of things? God also doesn't use much anesthesia. If any. We have to go through the pain. Experience the hurt. Isn't that the way of learning obedience? We test the limits. Stretch the boundaries. And get hurt in the process. But it is a hurt that we learn from. A hurt that softens the heart from stone to flesh. From self-willed to God-willed.
