Job 27:1-29:25

Job is continuing his discourse.  I like that word - sounds more dignified than rambling rant.  28:28 touched me. "The fear of the Lord-that is wisdom, and to shun evil is understanding."  Sounds so easy.  Yet people don't fear God like they should. They treat him like a big teddy bear or Santa Claus.

Job continues by acknowledging the goodness God did provide for him. before everything was taken from him.  But it seems he is elevating himself to a status higher than what he actually was. To a place equal with God.  Is he looking through rose colored glasses, or was he really the be all, end all of his town? A king among his troops?
