Deuteronomy 12:1 - 14:29
12:5 But you are to seek the place the LORD your God will choose from among all your tribes to put his Name there for his dwelling. To that place you must go;
12:32 See that you do all I command you; do not add to it or take away from it.
13:3-4 ...The LORD your God is testing you to find out whether you love him with all your heart and with all your soul. It is the LORD your God you must follow, and him you must revere. Keep his commands and obey him; serve him and hold fast to him.
14:27 And do not neglect the Levites living in your towns, for they have no allotment or inheritance of their own.
Talking about tithing ... the Levites were the Priests. It is imperative we tithe to our church so our priests, pastors, ministers can sustain themselves and their families...
Isn't it wonderful that we can go anywhere to worship God in our time? Although there are still some places that feel more 'sanctified' for worship than others.
