Judges 8:1-9:57

Gideon pursued the Midianites and a neighboring clan refused to help feed the soldiers.  He returned and killed them.  Gideon refused to rule over the people and in fact created an ephod from the plunder - one of his downfalls.  As soon as he died, the Israelites returned to Baal and forgot about Gideon's family.

Then there is more murder, plunder, thieving, overthrowing.   Who said the bible is boring???
