Job 32:1-34:37

Job is done talking.  His friends are done talking.  The youngest became angry at Job and the other 3. Job for defending his own righteousness. The others for failing to refute Job's arguments.  Elihu was keeping silent out of respect, but now he is saying he must speak or risk being taken away by his Maker.  And he will not sugar coat his words. He will not say what they want to hear.  He will speak what God lays on his heart.

This kid knows what he is talking about.  As he is talking, he is getting more and more fired up.  He reminds Job that God doesn't only speak in words, but in dreams, visions, actions, others,  When someone truly seeks God and finds favor from him and has been 'restored to his righteous state,' God will preserve what is right. once, twice, three times and many more.

Job 34:12 It is unthinkable that God would do wrong/act wickedly, that the Almighty would pervert justice.

Ok - God won't DO wrong, but he ALLOWS wrong or wicked acts to occur.  How is that better?

Elihu accuses Job of being rebellious in addition to his other sins.  Aren't we guilty of that as well? This youngster was likely sweating bullets when he started.  Speaking up to his elders? To Job?  But he was obedient to God and let him speak through his mouth.
