Knowing God - Joshua 1:1-2
      (from Pastor)

After the death of Moses the servant of the Lord,
the Lord spoke to Joshua son of Nun, Moses' assistant, saying,
"My servant Moses is dead.
Now proceed to cross the Jordan, you and all this people,
into the land that I am giving to them..."
Joshua 1:1-2
Twice in this passage Moses is referred to as "the servant of the Lord." Once, in fact, that's God's name for him.
In your life, who do you know that most deserves the title "servant of the Lord"?
The point of this passage is that Joshua is now being called to follow in the footsteps of Moses-the-Servant and lead the people of Israel. If Joshua was wise, what do you think he learned by watching the life and ministry of Moses?
Think again about the most faithful servant you know. What patterns in their life might enrich your life ... as well as enrich the kingdom?
In Christ's Love,
a guy who wonders how God would fill in the blank for me ...
"My __________ Ed"

Several come to mind.  They go to God with all situations. They take time daily or more often to talk with and listen to God.  They live a life of obedience and joy.  They know God's word in their hearts.
