Numbers 11:1 - 13:33
The people complained about their hardships and the Lord burned (literally) in anger ... the complained about their manna - wanting meat - and the Lord got angry and Moses got frustrated. Basically asking, "Why me???" Then he tells God, "If this is how you're going to treat me, put me to death right now!" So God asks for Moses to bring some of the elders to him to help carry the burdens of the people.
Then God threatens to send enough meat for them to eat for an entire month so they become to loathe it. A lesson in be careful of what you ask for! . Then God's anger burned again and he struck them with a plague. For not being content with what they had.
Aaron and Miriam were jealous of Moses. And God called them on it. 12:3 "(Now Moses was a very humble man, more humble than anyone else on the face of the earth.)" God speaks to others in vision and dreams, but he speaks face to face with Moses. Then God made Miriam leprous and she had to be sent away for 7 seven days. Why not Aaron also??
They are getting close to the Promised Land!!! Can you imagine a cluster of grapes so large that 2 men have to carry it between themselves?
