Knowing God - Luke 6:12-13
(from Pastor)
Jesus ... spent the night praying to God.
When morning came, he called his disciples
Luke 6:12-13
Before Jesus did something momentous – like naming the twelve who would be his disciples – what did he do? He prayed. And prayed and prayed and prayed.
He was God. And he prayed and prayed and prayed.
You and I aren’t God. That means our need for prayer is even more urgent. Therefore, what should you and I do before we do something even mildly momentous? Pray and pray and pray.
In Christ’s Love,
a guy who would like to do more momentous thing
(therefore, I ought to begin by praying and praying and praying more
... even before the momentous needs arises.)
