Exodus 19:1-21:36

God was coming down to the people.  He told them to consecrate themselves and he will come down on the third day.  Hmmm...What else happened on the third day after the people were consecrated with blood???

Then God issued the 10 commandments.  And instructions for an alter.  God even gave reasonings behind his commandments.  Gives more credibility to them, I think.  But remember - we are hard headed humans!

God then gave laws regarding servants and personal injury.  Thankfully Jesus came and those laws are no loner needed. They were pretty harsh.
