Knowing God - John 11:40
(from Pator)
Did I not tell you that if you believed,
you would see the glory of God?
John 11:40
If ... then ...
In this case, if you believe, then you will see. And who of us doesn't want to see God's glory?!
The Apostle James tells us "you have not, because you ask not" (4:2). If you want more of God's glory, start asking to see it. Trust in it. Look for it. Seek it. Believe it! God is real. And in big ways and small, he wants to find ways to bless you.
In Christ's Love,
a guy who wants to wear sunglasses
because God's glory is overwhelming
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Yet - sometimes it seems as if believing is not so simple. Trust is impossible. Seeking is tiring. And God is so far off. And just because you ask does not mean that God will deliver in your time. He has his own schedule. But we have to persevere. And keep asking. trusting. seeking. waiting.
